1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
Advocating for others is a great way to “be the changeâ€. By making efforts in the fight against Alzheimer’s Disease via my Alzheimer’s Awareness Across America (A4) project, I am constantly working on advocacy, outreach, and fundraising to change things for the better for those living with the disease. One must set goals and take action and help drive change forward.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My husband will do anything to ensure his wife, children, and family are cared for and happy. He goes above and beyond to work a FT job along with a PT job as a PIAA referee to help provide for what we need and want. He’s a master of fixing things, building things, and seeing the upside of any problem or challenge. He is so supportive --- my biggest cheerleader. My Stan the Man!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I have so many wonderful childhood memories with my grandparents, which is probably why I became a geriatrics nurse. I would love to revisit a family dinner at my grandparent’s house so I could enjoy the after-dinner stories that always fascinated me. I’d love seeing my grandfather happy again before he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
My high school friends voted me “most talented†and I’m positive that they would also describe me as a confident over-achiever who always took the lead while being kind to everyone. I was an honors student, drum major of the marching band and always off to dance class and community events. So, I guess they would also describe me as busy!
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
My husband loves sports! I would get him tickets to his favorite sporting events - a North Carolina final 4 basketball game, Florida State and Miami Dolphins football games, a LA Dodgers baseball game, the Daytona 500, the Superbowl, and the Stanley Cup playoffs to see the Philadelphia Flyers win!
