In addition to serving with Toastmasters, Lesley has successfully chaired several fund-raising events and served as a board member for the National Kidney Foundation. This organization is near and dear to her heart because of the help they gave her brother when he struggled with kidney failure and dialysis for 8 years. They also supported both of them through their kidney transplant process. Lesley says, “I’m happy to say that 4 years after the transplant my brother is living a healthy productive life.” She looks forward to resuming her involvement with the NKF when she moves back to the
